Little girl on the way

When I found out that my sister was having a baby, I instantly started thinking of pretty ways to decorate for her baby shower. She's just as crafty so I knew she would like my ideas. We also found out she was having a girl so I able to go a bit more girly. This is the invitation I made with the help of a Shabby Blogs background:

I would have preferred to do something outside but since northern Ontario weather is too unpredictable in the fall, we opted for a community centre. It's tough to make this type of venue look good but I think we managed quite well. I used almost a full pad of scrapbook paper to make big and small pennant flag banners, paper pinwheels on pencils for the kids, confetti for the tables and toothpick flags. It's all about the details!
Little Emilie is now six months old and has pinwheels and pennant flags decorating her bedroom.
