Little Dress Makeover

Now that we're in the throws of an evil winter, I have begun planning a warm holiday. Along with researching beaches and flights, I'm daydreaming about my summer wardrobe and the dresses that make it my favourite season... The dresses are at least factors that make summer my favourite season.
I find that my summer clothes tend to last me for years. I'm not sure what it is that makes my winter clothes die sooner, perhaps I don't wear my summer clothes as much - likely -  in any case, I like that I don't have to buy a new wardrobe every year after the melt. However I do like to switch things up a little.
So last summer I unpacked my trusted cotton sundress that I've been wearing for more years than I care to admit, and decided to have a go at tie dying.
This was my first time and I think it turned out pretty awesome. I used a handful of elastics for each line that remained yellow, and I ran the dress through two wash cycles with a box of black dye which came out in a charcoal colour.
Ta-da!
