Winter Getaway part 2: Belize

Following a delectable trip through Guatemala, we walked across the border into Belize where we were immediately greeted with what sounded like West Indie accents. Our Central American tour was beginning to feel more Caribbean. Belize is both warm and chill. The weather is hot, the people are cool and there is so much to see and do. If I had more time, I would have signed up for excursions to see caves, waterfalls and jungles, but we only had a few days to take it in so we spent most of our time out on Caye Caulker where the motto is "Go Slow." And that, we did.

Belize is a colourful place that requires more time to truly experience its beauty. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
