First Sale

I'm pretty stoked - I made my first sale on Etsy! I packaged up two banners for a lovely buyer in Brooklyn and they're being mailed out today. Yay!

I've been reconsidering lately this idea of having a shop to sell bunting banners and such, but if I can make a sale once in a while there's no harm in keeping it open a little while longer to see where it goes. I'll keep adding to it, little by little, since I enjoy making them. I can spend hours looking through scrapbook paper and it's fun to think of different concepts, like my latest teacups and teapots:
I currently have some St. Patrick's Day-inspired banners in the works (available this weekend). Meanwhile, I've also been working on other projects involving the thousands of photographs I've taken over the years - mainly the ones I've been posting here. This would explain why my blog posts have been scarce lately but hopefully soon I'll have an update worth sharing on the blog.
I have admit, as much as I dislike winter, it sure is an awesome opportunity for an annual catch-up on all my hobbies.
